This page, NEWS & UPDATES which is

SERIES' SUMMARIES
Sometime in 2004 I began
reviewing selected
series in an episode by
episode way, where I
called these reviews
EPISODIC THOUGHTS.
These thoughts are
mostly summaries of each
and every episode with
my opinion of that
episode included in it
as well. I may not
provide the most in
depth summaries but I am
very proud of the fact
that I could keep the
writing on such a long
winded basis each and
every night for the
entirety of the series.
I don't do this for each
and every series though
because it kills a lot
of brain cells, mine as
well as fellow netizens
who often joined in the
discussion by posting
informative stuff. These
thoughts are still open
for feedback and

Xiao Qiang

Ahhh the good old days when I was really following Taiwanese series and admiring Yue Ling, very frustrated with Ma Jingtao, really adore Jin Ming and truly drooling over Lin Ruiyang. The good old days.
Remember this woman? Xiao Qiang? I saw an interview of her today, much older, very conservatively dressed and surprisingly very interesting conversationist. And still as pretty as ever. And very feminine too, put me to shame for being not as feminine. She said she has never gotten any marriage proposals. I find that very interesting and sad. Imagine looking like her, gorgeous, nice packaging and not too bad a mind and yet, not one single marriage proposal? I seriously doubt her words. How old is she now? Because the following pictures, very sexy and taken not for any promo but for her friends to keep for memory sake kinda showed she may be a little older but really she still has that "it" factor. Acting wise, she is quite alright, but I never really liked any of her characters and hated most of her series, though I adore Yue Ling.
Where is Yue Ling now? How she looks now I wonder? She gained fame for looking like Jackie Chan's wife actually. Or is it ex-wife?? Is Xiao Qiang still acting? Hmmm..I know where is Lin Ruiyang (producing series) and Ma Jintao (still acting) but where are the women?
Anyway, some pictures and if you do not know who she is, she is considered Taiwan's sexy siren or rather most feminine sexy siren with am intelligent brain (she wrote some books on beauty and health care) though I can't confirm that since I do not know her. She is also like an image of health and well she has a body to die for though in the interview I mentioned (by Matilda Tao) she confessed that she has a tummy and she wears I think what you call those around the waist? Very honest of her. I was told that her family background is quite complicated because her dad is a gangster? Don't really know much about her past. Never married, no children. Got a brother. I think she may be the only girl in the family.
Introducing Xiao Qiang (some kind of flower, pronounced as Siow Qiang, not Little Qiang but a higher pitched Siow)...

The picture below, doesn't look like her at all if not for the cleavage I would have thought this is the younger Gui Yah Lui! Anyway can't see a tummy at all!
Never liked her hair, maybe too much styling which is why her hair at the crown or front is considerably lesser and she tries to give it a fuller look by perming it but it just looks not that nice. But her features are pretty. Another picture for you, some promo for some products...
Ermm just found some info on her, she was born in 1968! So she is now 37? Wow! She looks very good for a 37 year old woman! Never knew she was called Stephanie, doesn't look like Stephanie. Jasmine maybe, or Rose. For more pictures and more info, check these sites out...

I had no clue who this woman was. She was supposed to be the No 1 beauty of Taiwan. It was much later when I finally saw a picture of her. Maybe it was too much hype or something, I didn't find her that pretty.
Now however, I find that she exudes a certain kind of class not commonly found. It's the kind of beauty that can last. More longevity than the pretty young things the entertainment world churns out yearly and discards yearly.
she took a lead role in the first half of "the legend of dagger lee" in 1999.
she then did another series with jason wu jing ( a modern one), which i don't know the name of.
i think her most recent series is "the monkey king - quest for the sutra" in 2002. she played a small role, which you could call a guest star. her role was the mother of the red kid - the bull's wife. you know, the woman with the big fan.
she looked really pretty in that series and still looked as young as she looked in dagger lee.
