SELECTED POSTS
This page, NEWS & UPDATES which is

SERIES' SUMMARIES
Sometime in 2004 I began
reviewing selected
series in an episode by
episode way, where I
called these reviews
EPISODIC THOUGHTS.
These thoughts are
mostly summaries of each
and every episode with
my opinion of that
episode included in it
as well. I may not
provide the most in
depth summaries but I am
very proud of the fact
that I could keep the
writing on such a long
winded basis each and
every night for the
entirety of the series.
I don't do this for each
and every series though
because it kills a lot
of brain cells, mine as
well as fellow netizens
who often joined in the
discussion by posting
informative stuff. These
thoughts are still open
for feedback and

The title of that newspaper's article was horrible. It stated that Ron had a complex background which made me thought that maybe someone in his family was a gangster/fraudster or what. How can meeting with an accident makes one's background bad. Shame on the reporter for choosing such a heading to grab attention.
I think the complex thing is just a catchy headline and in Chinese words complex can mean more than shady or bad or illegal. I am sure the reporter meant his past was dark in the sense because of this horrific accident.
What was his original name? His name now is Ng Cheok Hei right?
Hong Kong Entertainment reporters are prone to giving dubious headlines to grab attention. The contents can be very different from what may be depicted in the title.
If you want to talk about criminal background, Louise Koo was actually caught stealing in his younger days.
Don't remember what kind of sentence he had to serve though.
another tabloid mention his brother is a gangster " gu whak zhai " and is in jail or something !!!
