SELECTED POSTS
This page, NEWS & UPDATES which is
actually the index page of this website has
grown into a huge database of my almost
daily ramblings of all stuff I hold dear to
my heart, including gossips of the most
sordid kind. For your convenience, I have

SERIES' SUMMARIES
Sometime in 2004 I began
reviewing selected
series in an episode by
episode way, where I
called these reviews
EPISODIC THOUGHTS.
These thoughts are
mostly summaries of each
and every episode with
my opinion of that
episode included in it
as well. I may not
provide the most in
depth summaries but I am
very proud of the fact
that I could keep the
writing on such a long
winded basis each and
every night for the
entirety of the series.
I don't do this for each
and every series though
because it kills a lot
of brain cells, mine as
well as fellow netizens
who often joined in the
discussion by posting
informative stuff. These
thoughts are still open
for feedback and
discussion. Do check

New series coming to ASTRO

I am veyr tempted to rent Yummy Yummy. If not I will have to wait ONE year before ASTRO will show it, local telly at least 2 years.
Anyway, Angels of Mission is coming to town. Saw the trailers, quite interesting because the trailers practically zoom by any acting moments and concentrated on the 3 stars' looks as well as many many explosions and the word terrorists, like every second. But still looks interesting. I am going to do Episodic Thoughts for Angels of Mission because I definitely hate the automaton, never liked the robot and I do thing Charm is pretty in there but alas, so so thin.
I am still trying to post DOMD 2000 in Taiwan/China section. If you see it in there, then that means I have posted it.

Glad to know that you're doing a episiodic thoughts on Angels of Mission . I did watch this a year ago already and errr... if you don't take this series seriously and just watch it for pure entertainment ,you'll be ok with it . It's consists of various cases and if I'm not mistaken maybe the first case was not very interesting but stay tune for the rest quite nice especially the Sek Sau one [miss him paying a baddie :)] . Male actors surprisingly took a back seat to this series leaving the 3 main ladies to show their stuffs but anyway I love watching Patrick Tam here ( even though he don't play a hero here )
Haha...I've been stalking the rental store lately to find out when Yummy Yummy will be available for rental.
don't think i can stomach two shirley in a day...
Also a weak ending in my opinion.
I'm looking forward to it.
I agree with sammie and seshseh. Do not take this series too seriously and u will enjoy it more.
Btw, I'm a Patrick Tam fan, but I hate his character in here. I won't say he has no redeeming feature (at least he is fillial) but some of the things he did made it really hard for me to like him, especially the way he treated Charmaine's character.
I like Stephen Au's character way better. The gender roles in this series are reverses from the usual cop/action series. In here the guys are the flower vases while the girls are the ones kicking ass and doing stuff. Bad guys still do the crime and fight with the Angels, but the good guys' only role is as love interest to the 3 Angels. Stephen Au's character is the only good guy who do more than play boyfriend to the Angels. His character still need saving, but he is the only guy on the good side that is not totally useless. But that's not the only reason like him. I like his coolness and the way he treated Charm's character. Why can't Fah (Charm) love him instead of the unworthy Dan (Patrick)?

Because when it come to love, Fah is an idiot. Not to spoil too much, there is this one good conversation btwn Fah & Wallace where Wallace mentioned perhaps he is the biggest idiot of all :P
