SELECTED POSTS
This page, NEWS & UPDATES which is
actually the index page of this website has
grown into a huge database of my almost
daily ramblings of all stuff I hold dear to
my heart, including gossips of the most
sordid kind. For your convenience, I have

SERIES' SUMMARIES
Sometime in 2004 I began
reviewing selected
series in an episode by
episode way, where I
called these reviews
EPISODIC THOUGHTS.
These thoughts are
mostly summaries of each
and every episode with
my opinion of that
episode included in it
as well. I may not
provide the most in
depth summaries but I am
very proud of the fact
that I could keep the
writing on such a long
winded basis each and
every night for the
entirety of the series.
I don't do this for each
and every series though
because it kills a lot
of brain cells, mine as
well as fellow netizens
who often joined in the
discussion by posting
informative stuff. These
thoughts are still open
for feedback and
discussion. Do check

The ending of Split Second

It is depressing to see probably ALL of the male leads in this series die, the only difference is how they die. For sure Kevin died, illness, Alex died, shot by policemen (was Yoyo really there or he was imagining it?, Marco died but I didn't see how he died (someone told me he was knifed by Yoyo?) and last but not least, Patrick, shot by Alex. Did he die? Why he didn't go to the hospital? The last scene was him helped by the Thai girl, seriously injured. I said probably he didn't die but my sister reminded me, he was shot point blank and look at the blood. So at the end I think he too will die.
Sad isn't it? Tragic in fact.

And gosh! If he could take that time to go all the way to look for the noodle lady and talk to her then go choose flowers, he could have made use of the less time to actually seek medical assistance, after which he could have all the time in the world to spend with her, since she was so important to her.
I mean, I know it's meant to be romantic and tragic... But u know, a little logic there would be nice. I wanted to feel sad but deliberately letting oneself bleed to death is certainly not my idea of romantic. In fact, I felt even more sad for the noodle lady cos he gave her hope then went off to die, leaving her to wonder what happened? Was he a cad?? Was he just there to play a trick on her? Did he really love her?
There were many illogical factors in the series. All this happenning in 30 days is probably the biggest one. lol
I am very curious though. What is wrong with hospitals? Why 2 characters simply refuse to go to hospitals and just die trying to get somewhere other than the hospitals?
And yup sam death was the saddest plus with that "Heaven Knows" soundtrack playing ..sad ...
Even Panda's death was sad too ...
